Unlike the “Coming Soon” page, this is where I announce what has been updated, and when.
12 April 2012: The main update was of the Famous Five page, where I added in four new books by Sarah Bosse (which have come out in a big rush after a hiatus—like with this site— in 2011). Slightly updated the information about Sarah Bosse on the Who’s Who page. Last but most assuredly not least, I added a link to the Ginger Pop Web site on the Links page.
7 November 2010: Added the latest two German Famous Five books to the Famous Five page and slightly revised the information about one of the Brigitte Blobel books. Made minor revisions on the Secret Seven page. Added a new author (Robert Houghton) to the Who’s Who page and updated the information about Sarah Bosse on that same page.
3 September 2010: Added another author (Pascale Kessler) to the Who’s Who page. Also added two new titles to the St. Clare’s page, made a small correction to the Malory Towers page and made a little addition (the first since the site was first created!) to the Tina und Tini page.
25 August 2010: Small update today, with information about Sue Welford being revised (including a change of Web site link) on both the Who’s Who and Links pages.
23 August 2010: Despite it being nearly a year since I last updated this site, I haven’t really made any major changes this time. Most updated pages have only undergone minor revisions. Perhaps the most significant aspect of this update was the addition of publication dates to the German Malory Towers books. On the Famous Five page, I have added the two latest forthcoming titles in the German continuation series and made a couple of other slight revisions. The Links section now includes links to my Lulu storefront and Twitter page. Very slight revisions made to the General Introduction, Who’s Who and Noddy pages. Last but certainly not least, an extra paragraph has been added to the Overview of Enid Blyton Continuation Series page in order to better acknowledge my most frequently used sources.
22 September 2009: Quite a few additions in this update. Four new authors were added to the Who’s Who section. The fantasy section of continuation novels was expanded, with a new Noddy page and brand-new titles on the Enchanted World and Wishing Chair pages. New titles were also added on the Secret Series, Famous Five and Malory Towers pages. Another author site added on the Links page.
11 April 2009: It’s been another “long time between drinks”. The biggest news this time around is the addition of two new translations (first chapters only). One is of a Famous Five book and the other is of a Secret Seven book. One has been translated from French and the other from German. Go to the New Translations section to find out more. Apart from that, I updated most pages within the Overview of Enid Blyton Continuation Series, adding several new titles and updating information on a number of “forthcoming” titles that have now been published. Made some minor revisions to the General Introduction and Who’s Who sections.
27 August 2008: It has been a long time between updates, but I have finally got around to doing one for just the fourth time. For the most part, I have concentrated on the Overview of Enid Blyton Continuation Series, creating two new sub-sections for the Fantasy and Family genres, and adding a good number of new titles to the Adventurous Four/Secret Series, Famous Five and St. Clare’s pages, as well as slightly revising one or two other pages. Revised some author information (mainly about Pamela Cox) on the Who’s Who page. Also made minor revisions to the General Introduction. On the Links page, I added a link to the official Famous 5 on the Case site. A new paragraph with a tantalising announcement was added to the Coming Soon page. And on the page you’re currently looking at, I reversed the order of update news so that the latest updates would be at the top and the earliest ones at the bottom.
23 December 2007: A major new addition was the first chapter of my now-completed translation: The Famous Five and the Ruby of Akbar! Check out the New Translations section for more! In the Overview of Enid Blyton Continuation Series, I updated the Famous Five page to include the two new Famous Five novels by Sarah Bosse due for publication in February 2008. Last but not least, I again amended the interview with myself in the Interviews with Authors and Translators section to account for the fact that my translation is now complete.
18 October 2007: This very page was new! Added links to this page on all other pages. Changed the introduction on the main page somewhat. On the Who’s Who page, I added about half a dozen new authors. In the Overview of Enid Blyton Continuation Series, I created a new page about the Adventure series and extensively updated several other pages, including the pages for the Adventurous Four and Secret Series, Famous Five and St. Clare’s. In New Translations, I gave news of my latest progress, and in Interviews with Authors and Translators, I amended the interview with myself to indicate when the Ruby of Akbar translation might now be finished. Last but not least, on the Links page, I added the official site of Andrew Donkin and altered the description of the Enid Blyton Society Web site to indicate that they now feature continuation novels in their Book Listing.
15 August 2007: Everything was new, as the site was launched for the first time.
